The first of these is associated with Mergers & Acquisitions, where generally around 50% of the anticipated cost savings arise from integrating the ICT functions.We specialise in the generation of value from ICT through M&A activity by utilising our deep skills and experience in Cost Reduction, Change Management Consulting, Interim Executive Management, Programme Management, IT Strategy, Sourcing Strategy and Benchmarking.

The second area is what we call simply Value IT. We have developed, and used many times for the benefit of our customers, a methodology called Integrated Operational Planning and Budgeting (IOPB). IOPB enables the ICT function to evolve into a state wherein the true cost and the true level/quality of every service component and every project delivered is clearly visible to any stakeholder.

The third area of CIO Plus focus is the development and delivery of Green IT Strategy underpinning organisational Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives. Because of world leaders’ legislative responses to the need to address climate change, there will be both a new regulatory environment (caps, quotas, trading, carbon accounting & reporting) and a new, carbon centric, marketing environment within which to operate. The ICT function can represent in excess of 50% of an organisation’s carbon footprint, so a reduction strategy is a necessity.
